Jacoby hadn’t anticipated the situation would escalate in this manner. Realizing he was in a dire position, he turned to flee, but before he could escape, Hamza grabbed him by the collar.
Then, Hamza and his men subdued him on the floor, continuing to assault him for an extended period. Eventually, they threw him out of the ward in a sorry state.
After enduring a brutal beating, Jacoby was tossed out of the hospital ward without grace, landing awkwardly on the cold, hard floor of the corridor.
At that moment, the hospital was teeming with people. Hamza had stormed in not long before, accompanied by a large group, and although no one dared to approach too closely, everyone was eager to know what had caused such a scene in the ward.
When they witnessed Jacoby being hurled into the corridor, whispers spread among them—low voices filled with a mixture of shock and curiosity.
Jacoby remained on the floor, wincing from the pain pulsing through his body. It took several moments before he managed to rise, his movements slow and awkward as he struggled to stand.
This time, Jacoby’s anger surged to an almost unbearable level. His carefully laid plan had gone up in smoke, completely derailed. Even worse, after handing over the money, he had still been beaten.

As Jacoby limped out of the hospital, his face was a mask of fury, his eyes dark with embarrassment over everything that had happened. He could not believe how low he had fallen.
Jacoby did not know for certain if Ashton was directly involved in this debacle, but he could not help feeling Ashton was to blame. In his mind, it was all because of Ashton that things had turned out this way.
Had it not been for Ashton’s involvement, Jacoby would never have been assigned this task. And he certainly would not have found himself beaten and thrown out after paying money. To Jacoby, the blame rested squarely on that damn Ashton!
However, despite the anger burning inside him, Jacoby was not foolish. He knew exactly how precarious his situation was and understood that he needed to tread carefully from this point forward.
Even though Jacoby had not done anything wrong himself, he knew that reporting this incident to his brother would inevitably result in a harsh scolding.
