Although Fraser’s tone was gracious and polite, Ashton remained stoic.
His thoughts had been preoccupied with rescuing Selena earlier, leaving no room to scrutinize Fraser’s timely arrival with a so-called reputed doctor, just moments after Selena had collapsed.
Julius’s anxious behavior during the treatment hadn’t escaped Ashton’s notice either.
