Early the next morning, Ashton received a call from Chloe, who excitedly informed him that the new car had been delivered from headquarters. When he arrived at the dealership, Chloe had already taken care of all the paperwork and the license plate. With the car keys in his grip, Ashton drove his new car toward the school.
However, he soon encountered a slight issue. Driving a brand-new, high-end luxury car that was worth a fortune felt overly ostentatious. As he neared the school, he noticed several students turning their heads and even snapping photos.
To dodge further attention, Ashton chose to park the car in a nearby lot outside the school grounds. Stepping out of the car, he caught the eye of a group of girls walking by. A tall, striking young man emerging from such a polished luxury car was naturally going to draw looks.
Feeling their intense stares, Ashton responded with a modest smile. Before they could approach him, he quickly walked away from the parking lot. It was only after he had vanished from view that the girls came to their senses, each kicking themselves for not asking for his contact details.

The girls continued their excited chatter, each weaving their own fantasies about Ashton. Meanwhile, Ashton walked briskly, oblivious to the conversation. He soon reached the school gate. All the formalities for his employment were settled, and he was here today to officially begin his work.

Ivan nodded with approval and said, “I live just around the corner. Since you don’t have any classes lined up yet, why don’t you stay at my place for a bit? I want to test your skills and see if they’ve slipped in the last two years. If you don’t measure up, I’ll have no problem showing you the door p>
Ashton chuckled in response. “No worries. If I’m not up to scratch, I wouldn’t stick around even if you asked me to p>
Their exchange had the easy warmth of old friends, leaving the students around them both impressed and jealous. They had never seen Ivan so light-hearted before, which piqued their curiosity about Ashton even more. From a dark corner, a pair of eyes watched Ashton with malice.
“Well, well, well! Now that you’re officially a teacher, my opportunity has arrived! This time, I’ll destroy your reputation!” Tristan hissed, having been plotting against Ashton for some time.
