Ellis, ignoring Ashton’s probing, collapsed to the floor, panting heavily.
His mouth was a vile mix of alcohol, sweat, and the stench of feet—a nausea-inducing cocktail.
He fought the urge to vomit repeatedly, aware that yielding might lead Ashton to force more alcohol on him.

Without a second thought, Ellis swiftly leapt up and hurried to the bathroom.
Soon after, the unmistakable sounds of retching echoed from behind the door.
Ellis couldn’t recall how long he’d been throwing up. He didn’t slump beside the toilet to catch his breath until his stomach was completely empty.
Though he had just conceded and apologized to Ashton, deep down, he was still seething.
His family had always cherished him. He had never faced such disgrace before.
In that moment, his heart brewed a growing hatred. He fantasized about wreaking vengeance on Ashton.
After rinsing his mouth several times, Ellis regained his composure and the strength to stand.
As he made his way toward his seat, he noticed Ashton and Rosalie chatting joyfully, seemingly oblivious to the earlier conflict.

But inwardly, Ellis vowed revenge. On this plane, his hands were tied, but once they landed in the Byrd family’s territory, he would ensure Ashton and Rosalie paid dearly.
Ellis was hardly recognizable as the same man who had boarded the plane, having undergone such a transformation during the flight. He remained impressively composed for the remainder of the journey.
There he sat, perfectly upright in his seat, barely moving except for the occasional survey of his surroundings.
The flight attendants, initially anxious, were visibly surprised by his change in demeanor. They hadn’t expected Ellis to settle down so quietly after being punished.
Rosalie and Ashton, relieved to be rid of the troublesome passenger, found themselves more relaxed. They often huddled together, whispering and sharing jokes, which lightened the mood considerably.
Eventually, the plane touched down smoothly at Staville Airport following a brief flight.
