“You know each other too?” David looked surprised, glancing between Kingsley and Lucy.
Lucy’s lips curved slightly, her tone calm. “He’s my ex-husband p>

David exclaimed involuntarily, clearly not expecting that connection.
Jules chuckled softly to ease the tension, his fingers gently brushing Lucy’s arm. “Fate is indeed mysterious p>
David recovered quickly and turned back to Kingsley, his tone even more certain. “Kingsley, if you know Lucy, then you know her designs will definitely not disappoint you p>
Kingsley’s gaze landed on Lucy again as he spoke coolly. “Her designs are indeed decent. I’ve already communicated with Mr. Holt regarding the collaboration p>
Lucy didn’t interject. Although she wouldn’t participate, the opportunity could be handed over to other designers in the company.
The three men chatted warmly. Lucy had no intention of participating, so she tugged gently on Jules’s sleeve. “I’ll wait for you in the rest area p>
She nodded to David, but didn’t give Kingsley so much as a glance.

Kingsley watched the natural interaction between the two, his eyes darkening further. The fingers gripping his wine glass tightened unconsciously.
It gave the distinct impression of a couple checking in with each other.
Lucy walked to the rest area. As soon as she took out her phone, she saw a video sent by the nanny-Seven was playing obediently with his toys.
The heart that had been suspended all the way there finally settled.
The image of Seven crying with red eyes when she left was still etched in her mind; just thinking about it made her heart ache.
She closed the video, put the phone in her bag, and sat on the sofa. She picked up a glass of champagne, swirling it gently in her fingers, her gaze unfocused.
Elsewhere, Ethan had just secured interest from two potential investors and was in a good mood.
He wanted to find Kingsley to share the news but saw him deep in conversation. Not wanting to interrupt, he decided to get some Snacks. After a few steps, He spotted Lucy on the sofa.

Lucy looked up and gave a slight nod-she really didn’t feel there was anything to discuss with Ethan. They weren’t close.
Ethan didn’t mind. He sat down next to her uninvited and spoke casually. “Has Miss Lynwood been living in Switzerland for the past two years p>
Lucy looked up instantly, her eyes guarded. “Mr. Sterling, why do you ask p>
“Just making conversation,” Ethan said easily, wearing a harmless smile.
Lucy glanced at him, a distant smile touching her lips. “We aren’t close p>

Lucy simply nodded again.
Just as she was about to get up and leave, Jules walked over and naturally took her hand. “I’m taking you to dance p>
