In the blink of an eye, Kingsley was preparing to leave for Switzerland.
After tracking down Lucy and Seven’s flight back to the country, he immediately had Xavier cancel his own ticket.
Ever since Seven’s identity had been discovered, Lucy no longer went out of her way to conceal the child’s information.
Traveling with him now, she had shed her previous anxieties and felt genuinely relaxed.
This was the first time she was bringing Seven back home.
Perhaps sensing he was about to meet a lot of new people, Seven couldn’t hide his excitement, brimming with boundless energy the entire trip.
Meanwhile, Kingsley spent almost the entire holiday at the old estate.
Having three bachelors lounging around the house worried Old Mrs. Sherwood endlessly. Despite her constant nagging, the men remained stubbornly rooted at home day after day.
Frustrated, she threatened to book a flight and go on vacation, declaring she couldn’t stand being in the house a second longer.

She rarely returned home these days; her parents usually flew overseas to spend the holidays with her. It was only in the last couple of years that she started coming back.

She held out her slender hand, her intention crystal clear-she wanted her New Year’s money.
Kingsley glanced at her. Without a word, he pulled out his phone and wired a generous sum to her account.

Old Mrs. Sherwood watched Kingsley lingering in the house, her frown deepening. She couldn’t help but ask, “Why are you still here p>
He had been loitering at home for over ten days. At this rate, when would he ever win her granddaughter-in-law back?
He might not be in a rush, but she was dying to meet her great-grandson.

“Ask Kingsley,” Old Mrs. Sherwood replied calmly, though she sighed internally. Relying on him to bring. her great-grandson home meant she was in for a long wait.
After a brief internal struggle, she couldn’t hold back anymore. She leaned over and
whispered some instructions to Wilma.
Wilma immediately nodded and excused herself from the living room.
