Mira immediately stood up to accept the scolding, shooting a covert glare at Elara. The teacher didn’t press the issue, effectively letting her off the hook.
By now, the subject representative was already passing out the papers. Today was unit test day p>
The moment the final bell rang, Mira packed her bag. She had a mountain of tasks waiting for her back home.
But then her phone buzzed. Mr. Harth was summoning her to his office.

Mira’s greatest redeeming quality was how quickly she admitted her faults.
“Since this is your first offense, I’ll let it slide. But if there’s a next time, I won’t be so lenient p>
Mr. Harth was well aware of how awful those particular students could be. Truthfully, watching Mira teach them a lesson had been incredibly satisfying content
But the setting was all wrong, and physical violence went strictly against school
policy. He had to give her a warning.

Mr. Harth wanted to roll his eyes, but remembering he was a teacher, he forced
himself to maintain his professional composure.
