With that, Mira mounted her horse, and Celine and Liora quickly followed suit.
“Hey, you’re leaving already?” Wesley started to say, but the three of them had already ridden off into the distance.
Harvey wanted to join Mira’s group, but he couldn’t leave his single-minded sister behind, so he ended up teaming up with Wesley and the others.
“Hahaha Liora burst out laughing once they were far enough away.
“This is perfect. Your two-faced sister has someone else to deal with now, so she won’t be causing us any trouble. Mira, that was a brilliant move p>
“What are you guys talking about? I don’t get it,” Celine said, confused.
It had to be said that among the three friends, Liora was the most perceptive when it came to matters of the heart. Even Mira had to admit she couldn’t compare.

Celine still looked completely lost.
“My dear Miss Ward, are you the type who’d get scammed and still help the swindler count their money? You couldn’t tell that Natalie has a crush on Wesley p>
Liora gave Celine a sidelong glance.
“No wonder Natalie went straight to Wesley’s side. But wait, Liora, you’ve never even dated anyone. How are you so sharp about this stuff p>

“So, when Mira handed Mara over to Wesley just now, was she trying to make them enemies p>

“Mira, were you really trying to pit Mara against Natalie?” Celine asked, staring at Mira.
“That was part of the idea. But I wasn’t as quick on the uptake as Liora. She’s the one who pointed it out to me p>
Just as Liora predicted, things were indeed getting interesting over with Wesley’s group.
First, when Wesley was helping Mara pick a horse, Natalie deliberately led a spirited one over to her.

“Natalie!” Harvey knew his sister was up to something and quickly warned her.
“Harvey, don’t be so protective. Our guests have come all this way; as the host, I have to help p>
Unexpectedly, the young woman was quick on her feet.
Harvey didn’t want to embarrass her in front of outsiders. If he pushed his sister too far, it would be a difficult situation to manage.
Besides, all the horses here were relatively tame. Even a “spirited” horse just had a bit more of a temper than the others.
With him watching and professional safety staff nearby, nothing should go wrong. At least, nothing major.
Wesley took the horse for a test ride and felt it was manageable, so he gave the okay.
Mara came out in her riding gear, gave Natalie a suspicious look, then glanced at Wesley. Seeing him nod, she relaxed.
Mara had never ridden before and clumsily tried to climb up using the stirrup Wesley field the reins with, one hand and half-embraced her with the other to help her up.
The intimate gesture was jarring to the Rivers siblings standing nearby.
It was far too close. Harvey looked away.
