Damon wasted no time. He immediately pulled out his phone and texted his second brother, Lucas, and his fourth brother, Julian, asking if they wanted to join the mass exodus.
Lucas, the medical fanatic who was rarely home anyway, didn’t reply. His life would remain largely unaffected either way.
Julian, however, replied almost instantly.
“Damon, count me in p>
“Got it p>
Damon looked up at his older brother. “Ethan, tell the lawyer to bring an extra copy. Julian wants out, too p>
“Damon, will you never be satisfied until this family is torn to pieces?” Lacey sobbed, wiping away her tears.
“I’m tearing it to pieces? What kind of twisted logic is that? You’re the one insisting on keeping a literal parasite in the house. I’m just doing what I have to do to survive. Mom, your IQ is seriously concerning. At this point, I’m convinced Mara is Dad’s illegitimate kid, and you’ve just been thoroughly brainwashed p>
Adrian erupted into a fit of violent coughing, clutching his chest. “Ethan, hurry up p>
He just wanted to get rid of this rebellious son before he caused any more catastrophic damage.
“So, do I ask for one copy or two?” Ethan asked.
Adrian’s face was deathly pale. “Just bring his for now. If Julian wants to sever ties, he can come back and sign it himself p>

Damon casually forwarded the family’s verdict to Julian.
Mara remained huddled in the corner, not daring to make a sound.
Mr. Grant arrived swiftly. Once the signatures were finalized and the ties officially
cut, Damon marched upstairs to pack his belongings. Unlike Mira, who had left with nothing, Damon had purchased many of the expensive items in his room with his own money, and he was taking every last one of them.

After Damon and his two assistants finished packing, he ordered them to take the bags to the car while he walked directly toward Mara.
“Damon, what are you doing?” Lacey panicked, terrified he was going to hit her.
“Relax, I’m not going to hit her. It would dirty my hands p>
But he didn’t stop walking. “Hand over the trophies and the jade bracelet I bought you. You can keep the rest of the trash p>
“Damon, do you really have to be this ruthless?” Lacey screamed again.
“You think this is ruthless? When Mira left, you wouldn’t even let her take her broken phone and ancient laptop. What do you call that p>
Mara was forced to step back, but her legs were still weak from terror, and she stumbled, collapsing onto the floor.
Neither of her brothers made a move to help her up.
Lacey was busy holding up Adrian and couldn’t reach her. Mara had to painfully pick herself up and limp toward the stairs.
Once she went up, Damon stood guard at the bottom of the staircase, waiting for her to bring the items down.
Before Mara could return, a car pulled up to the villa’s entrance. Julian hobbled inside on crutches, taking awkward, uneven steps.
