Mira remembered looking at her family with pleading eyes as she was dragged to the basement, but no one was willing to help her. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw her ‘dear’ sister’s lips curl into a smirk.

But now that Mira was back, she would repay everything, with interest.
Just then, she heard footsteps outside, followed by the sound of the door opening.
