He wanted to point out that there was only one morning flight from Aethelgard to Melvion City, but the mention of food derailed his train of thought entirely.
“Hell yes, I do,” Jax grinned. The man lived to eat, and a good meal instantly wiped his memory. He abandoned his sentence and dove for the dining table.
Silas joined him quietly. He didn’t have Jax’s bottomless pit of a stomach, but martial artists burned through calories fast.

“No, no, that was a totally different flight. We got to the airport way after that happened. We only heard about it when we landed p>
“Oh, thank God. The news footage terrified me,” Rachel sighed, pressing a hand to her chest.
Zane, the security guard who had driven them home, cleared his throat. “Miss Mira, should I be heading out now?” She had originally hired him just to watch the empty house while they were away. With Silas and Jax back, his services seemed redundant.
“You’re staying,” Mira said firmly. “I take Jax and Silas out on business all the time. From now on, you’re the full-time Butler. You manage the household security and help Rachel keep things running p>
Rachel needed the support. A standard bodyguard made pocket change, and Mira now had the means to ensure she kept reliable people securing her home base.
“Thank you, Miss Mira,” Zane smiled. He genuinely liked working here. The environment was quiet, straightforward, and his boss actually treated him with respect.
Business handled, Mira retreated to her home office. She emailed the upcoming year’s catalog of hit songs to Callum Wright, the music director at Solflare Entertainment.
She instructed him to select their top artists and begin recording sessions for the next wave of

burning through cash at a terrifying rate. She e had just wired out $300 million solely for international server equipment, and that didn’t even cover operational costs. With hundreds of millions still sitting in her war chest, Mira cracked her knuckles, fired up her trading software, and began hunting for her next major kill on the stock market.
