Celine scoffed. “I wouldn’t be so sure. People like Evelyn always hold something back. You pay her a little, she teaches a little. No extra cash? You just get the standard curriculum p>
Liora nodded. “Which means Mrs. Mercer’s money is just pouring straight into her pockets. She’d sell her soul for Mara p>
“Alright, enough about her,” Mira interjected. “Rachel should have dinner ready by now. Let’s head back. You still haven’t seen your gifts p>
“Ooh, what did you get us? I can’t wait!” Liora’s attention was instantly derailed. When they got back, the table was set.
“I was just about to call you girls. Go wash your hands,” Rachel smiled.
“Wow, Rachel, this looks amazing! I’m starving,” Liora said, instantly forgetting about the gifts at the sight of the feast.
Because of the guests, Jax and Zane ate at a separate table, while Rachel joined Mira, Liora, and Celine.
After they finished eating, Mira pulled out the gifts. She handed them each the latest designer brooches—one a stunning blue、 peacock adorned with pearls, the other an intricate violet. Crafted from platinum with exquisite detailing, the girls immediately fell in love with them.
“Rachel, this is for you,” Mira said, handing over a beautiful gold bangle. It was a token of appreciation for her tireless dedication.
With the house getting busier, managing the meals and chores was no small feat,

Liora and Celine exchanged a blank look. Suffered? All they saw was Mira soaring
higher every single day, leaving them entirely in the dust.

“What about Elara?” Rachel asked curiously. “I haven’t seen that sweet girl in a while p>
