As the chairwoman, she had to step up when necessary. Mira knew Owen was doing this to push her to grow, despite his claims that he was too overwhelmed to handle it all. Even with a professional CEO in place, a founder needed to have a firm grasp on the business.
“No problem. If it gets to be too much, I’ve got your back,” Harvey said, already leafing through the files.
With Harvey’s help, they wrapped up work early that day. She turned to him. “How well do you know Aethelgard p>
“Not very well. But it’s still early. If you want to sightsee, we can have the driver take us around to some of the famous landmarks p>

Since Owen still had loose ends to tie up, Mira brought Silas Vane, Ronan Creed, and Harvey along to explore Aethelgard’s historical sites. It felt wrong to visit the capital without seeing the sights. Her main interest lay in the historical architecture left behind by ancient dynasties; the modern skyscrapers weren’t much different from what she saw back in Melvion City. As for the local cuisine, the hotel’s chefs had prepared a diverse spread over the past few days, so she had already had her fill.
The ancient city, steeped in rich history, was dotted with cultural monuments that radiated a unique and captivating charm. It was truly a place to behold.
Realistically, half an afternoon wasn’t enough to explore so many places. The driver simply cruised past the entrances of various attractions, allowing them to take in the views from the car. Whenever something caught their eye, they pulled over to walk around and take a closer look.
The ancient palaces were magnificent, with their crimson walls and golden roofs. Gazing through the gates, they saw beautifully arranged courtyards and intricate carvings that spoke of immense imperial luxury and power. It was easy to imagine the supreme glory of eras past.
The ancient defensive walls snaked through the rugged mountains like a sleeping dragon. From a distance, the crumbling stones bore the heavy marks of time. Looking out toward the horizon, the rolling hills and the sprawling fortress created a breathtaking landscape that filled them with a deep respect for the resilience and ingenuity of those who built it.
Then there were the royal gardens, a stunning blend of lakes and mountains. The winding corridors were painted with vibrant murals, each telling an ancient tale.
“Let’s just do a quick overview today. When we have more time, we can come back and explore each place properly,” Harvey suggested.
Tucked away in certain corners were low-rise, older neighborhoods that

“You’re not going abroad p>
“I’ll think about that for grad school. If it’s necessary, I’ll go. If not, I won’t. The business is in a massive growth phase right now. I can’t afford to step away for too long p>
“Then I’m going to the same university as you. Same major, hopefully even the same classes. Whenever you’re too busy with the company, I can help out p>
Why was this guy so impossible to shake off? But it didn’t really matter. Their friendship was purely platonic, and free labor was free labor.

The Rivers family had clearly done an excellent job raising him. Harvey was smart capable, and not afraid of hard work, utterly lacking the arrogant baggage typical of wealthy heirs. Because of that, she didn’t mind taking him under her wing.
No one could make it to the top without partners and a solid team. Harvey was eager to learn and fiercely ambitious. This trip to Aethelgard had completely redefined his view of Mira. He had realized that she was a once in a-century business prodigy. Her empire and wealth were expanding at an exponential rate, and given enough time, she was destined to become a corporate titan.
