The next day, Mira and Owen focused on wrapping up company affairs. Solflare Entertainment had officially promoted Felix Grant to Vice President.
Felix had been the general manager of the bike-sharing startup, personally mentored and elevated by Mira and Owen. Highly ambitious, sharp, and possessing an unyielding integrity, he was the perfect material for an executive role.
Without an iron fist in that position, one couldn’t command respect or manage subordinates effectively.
With both Mira and Owen leaving simultaneously, the group’s operations were entirely entrusted to him.
They spent all of Saturday getting Solflare’s operations in order. When it was time for Mira to head home, Owen insisted on driving her.
Mira wanted to say that her two bodyguards were enough, but she reconsidered. This was simply the natural attachment of people in love, wasn’t it?
Owen was willing to wait until she graduated before bringing up marriage; she couldn’t be entirely unsympathetic to him.

Mira didn’t have any hidden agenda; it genuinely just made coordinating their departure easier.

Owen frowned, his emotions conflicted.

Any further discipline is just a disguised form of education-you only teach the descendants who actually have potential.
