Mira leaned in and whispered to Harvey, “She’s Lawrence’s sister p>

Harvey was well aware of the bad blood between Lawrence, Owen, and Mira.
The freshman representative, a top scholar from another state, took the stage. Mira tuned out his speech entirely.
Harvey scoffed quietly. “I don’t know what criteria the school uses to pick the freshman rep, but he definitely didn’t score as high as you p>
“The student council probably picked him. It’s not like I wanted the spotlight anyway,” Mira replied.
“True. The Melvion Goddess never has to worry about blending in p>
Mira shot him a warning look and ignored him.
When it was time for the senior representative to speak, Luna announced the next segment and seamlessly transitioned into delivering the speech herself.
Cedric nudged Harvey with his elbow. “That girl has to be an absolute genius p>
“You’re so easily impressed. Don’t throw around the word ‘genius’ until you’ve actually met one,” Harvey shot back.
“What’s that supposed to mean p>
Mira and the others glanced over at Cedric, amused by the banter.
Despite his defensive reply, Cedric’s eyes never left Luna. And he wasn’t alone; almost every guy in the plaza was completely captivated by her.
Whatever strings Luna had pulled to secure the hosting gig, it worked flawlessly. She had instantly amassed a massive fan base.
If Mira ever ended up crossing paths with her, Luna was going to be a formidable opponent.
At lunch, Harvey sat down with Mira and Elara. Wyatt and Cedric quickly followed suit, joining their table.
“So, Mira, do you have a boyfriend?” Wyatt asked casually while Mira was focused on her food.
Mira didn’t immediately register the question, assuming he might be talking to Elara or Leah.
“Mira, I was talking to you,” Wyatt pressed.
“Oh, me? No.” Mira gave a brief answer and went back to eating.
Harvey, however, instantly bristled. “Weren’t you just drooling over Luna all
morning? Why are you suddenly interrogating my friend p>
“Luna is way out of my league,” Wyatt admitted offhandedly.
“Oh, so she’s out of your league, but you think my friend is an easy target p>
The guys were bickering under their breath. Mira couldn’t hear the exact words and didn’t bother getting involved.
Across the table, Harvey shot Wyatt
a sharp look and lowered his voice dramatically. “If you think Luna is out of your league, let me tell you something-Mira is in a whole

Wyatt frowned, not entirely convinced. He knew Mira was a famous singer, a literal celebrity. But he was a student at Aethelgard University; he was no slouch either.
More importantly, he hailed from the
Wrights of Westmont, a family with
deep academic roots and
substantial wealth. Wyatt honestly didn’t see how he was unworthy of Mira.
Sure, Luna was the daughter of the Lance Family, the most powerful dynasty in Aethelgard. Her social standing was intimidatingly high. Given her stunning looks and endless line of suitors, accepting defeat there made sense.
But facing Harvey’s aggressive pushback, Wyatt felt compelled to retreat slightly.

The recent crisis that struck the Mercer family was public knowledge.
Even though Ethan Mercer was currently rebuilding the empire and had recovered most of their wealth, it would take a long time to fully bounce back.
