Ethan stared at them, his face etched with profound regret.
“I was an idiot back then too. I only cared about protecting the Mercer family’s reputation, and I shielded Mara at all costs, burning the bridge with Mira completely.

Damon snapped back.
He was furious at his parents for driving Mira away.
If they hadn’t, this incredibly talented sister would have been his exclusive songwriter. Why would Solflare Entertainment ever get their hands on her?
If he had her writing for him, who in the entire entertainment industry could ever surpass him?
He could have become a global superstar.
But that immense glory had been destroyed by his parents’ catastrophic mistakes.

Mara suddenly asked.
The thought seemed to offer her a lifeline, and a faint look of relief washed over her stubborn, tear-stained face.

Damon stared at her as if she were completely insane.

Furious, Lacey grabbed a glass from the table and hurled it straight at him.
“Who’s missing a few screws? Have you completely lost your mind? Say one more word and I’ll kick you out of this house p>
Damon dodged out of the way just in time. The glass shattered against the tiled floor with a sharp crash, sending shards flying everywhere.
His expression darkened as he grabbed his laptop and headed for the stairs.

Adrian and Lac gritted their teeth in fury, but staring at the shattered glass on the
