Lucian tapped his screen frantically. His phone was glitching, the system in complete chaos. Someone had hacked him.
He checked his firewall and realized it had been utterly obliterated.
Who could possibly pull this off? Mira Mercer? She was just a kid! His offensive skills were practically unrivaled in Mavaria, and his defenses had never been breached.
He pushed the shock aside and scrambled to restore his system. True to his reputation, he had it running again in minutes. He immediately logged into his bank account.
