Mira obliged the crowd and sang two songs. The rest of the time was left for the other students to perform.
Halfway through, noticing that the snacks Reece had bought were gone, Mira had the Solflare Grand Hotel deliver a batch of premium treats, which were quickly devoured by everyone.
Mira knew those snacks had been bought with the class fund. The budget was tight, so they naturally had to pinch pennies.
Now, everyone knew Mira was a billionaire boss. Showing a little generosity occasionally was just part of carrying that title.
As long as she earned good reviews from the majority of them, it was worth it.
In reality, the smart students were all trying to get on Mira’s good side. Being classmates with her was a ready-made network; anyone who didn’t take advantage of it was a fool.
Whether for building connections or hoping to join the Solflare Group after graduation, it was a win-win situation.
They were all classmates, and Mira was willing to help them out where she could.
Luna Lance had fallen, and her former crony Vanessa Voss and the rest had quieted down. Now, practically no one was at odds with Mira.
After the meeting ended, Mira handed out the remaining bike-share cards, giving one each to Liora and Reece, and one to Harvey Rivers and his roommates.
She also gave one to each of the professors and counselors. It was a small token of appreciation.
Handing out gifts worth thousands of dollars bordered on bribery, and the faculty wouldn’t dare accept them.
But a bike-share card was different. With a modest value of ten dollars, it was just a fun, practical gift.
There were plenty of shared bikes around campus, making them convenient for daily use, so both professors and students would find them handy.
The campus visit concluded smoothly, and Mira prepared to head home with Jax. “Mira! Mira p>
As they walked past the campus gates, Mira heard someone calling her name. She turned to see two unfamiliar women.

“Wow, Mira, you really are forgetful now that you’re a big shot. I’m Sienna Marwood, and this is Hannah Greer p>
The other girl nodded.
“Don’t you remember? The summer after our sophomore year of high school, we all competed in the arts festival p>
It clicked for Mira. They were both incredibly talented. At the talent showcase two years ago, Hannah had taken third place, and Sienna had taken fourth.
“You’re Sienna and Hannah? You look so different p>
“It’s been two years. We’ve grown up, so it’s normal that our looks have changed a bit p>
Sienna said with a smile.
In truth, their features hadn’t changed much, but they had matured, carrying themselves with different aura. Phus they haddearned
how to style their hair and makeup.
Naturally, they looked like completely different people from the naive teenagers they used to be.

Mira asked, a bit puzzled.
“We came specifically to find you p>
Hannah replied.
“How did you know I’d be on campus today, and leaving at this exact time p>
Sienna laughed. “We didn’t know you’d be leaving right now. We’ve been here since morning, just waiting for you by the gates.
As for knowing you’d be here, who
doesn’t know that Aethelgard
University just finished final exams
yesterday? We figured you’d
definitely have a class meeting
today.
We go to school in the city too. We’re both at the Aethelgard School of the Arts p>
Hearing that, Mira had a pretty good idea of why they were here.
She turned to Jax. “Call the house and let them know I’ll be back a little late today p>
She then led the two girls toward the cafe across the street.
They were from the same
hometown, and at the very least, they were old acquaintances. Since they had come all
way Mira had
to host them properly. They couldn’t
just stand at the gates forever.
Mira ordered a coffee for each of them, along with a few plates of pastries, before
sitting down for a proper chat.
