She walked over and opened the door herself, greeting the visitor with a warm, professional smile. “Mr. Jones, perfect timing. I was just filling Ms. Ellis in about you p>
She turned to make the introductions. “Helena, meet your new supervisor, Mr. Donn Jones. He’ll be overseeing your team moving forward. Mr. Jones, this is Helena—our brightest rising star. Take good care of her p>
As soon as Meredith stopped speaking, Helena locked eyes with Donn. The man standing in front of her was tall, good-looking, and sharply dressed—he looked like he’d stepped out of a fashion magazine.
