At times like this, Helena would have preferred to be somewhere that still held traces of Alden. With a soft sigh, he shifted direction and headed toward the modest apartment where Helena and Alden had lived together.
Although Alden hadn’t come back, the apartment appeared unchanged, as if time had stood still.
