Valeria quickly listed several of her favorite foods without missing a beat.
With genuine excitement, Savannah said, “No way! You and Leonino like nearly all the same things. He’s flying back in a few days. Once he’s here, you should drop by—then you two can enjoy it all together p>
“Savannah, I’ll be there as well,” Dorian said, his patience finally running thin. He drew Valeria toward him and slung an arm over her shoulders in a firm, possessive gesture.
He smiled at Savannah, but there was an edge in his eyes that hinted at a quiet challenge.

Dorian jumped at the chance to heap praise on her. “Leonino got all his grace from you. He’s so naturally poised that he’s bound to catch anyone’s eye. As for his quiet nature—nowadays, women are into the strong, silent type. They like depth and brains more than chatterboxes like me. And that’s all thanks to how you raised him p>
