Watching him disappear, Asher pressed his lips together and quietly wheeled himself into the hotel. He had come with the quiet hope that Colton and Kristine would sever ties sooner rather than later.
Guests soon filled the seats, and the ceremony unfolded with little delay.
With gentle support from the attendants, Kristine made her way toward the banquet hall. The distance was short — just a few steps, really — yet it had taken Colton four years to agree to this walk.
