Carrying the bouquet, she walked a good distance until she arrived at a memorial stone. The woman’s portrait caught the light, her striking features almost mirrored in Amelia’s face. Bending, Amelia arranged the flowers before Katrina’s stone, her fingers brushing the photo as if seeking comfort.

Ricky trailed behind, his gaze stuck on Katrina’s photo while an uncomfortable feeling gnawed at him. He asked impatiently, “Why drag me here, Amelia? What is this about p>

Wyatt made his way to the trunk, gathered a bundle of white baby’s breath, and set the flowers beside Amelia’s. With a deep bow, he paid his respects to Katrina. Once he finished, he shot a glance at the waiting bodyguard. The back door of the car swung open, and the bodyguard hauled Laura from the vehicle.

Bruises and cuts marked Laura’s skin, and the fear in her eyes deepened when Wyatt came into view.
