After everything with Jaxton, Amelia couldn’t bring herself to stay at Kretol University. She decided to say a quick goodbye to Axton before leaving. But back inside the lecture hall, she found the place crowded from front to back. Once Amelia walked in, voices from all corners welcomed her. People recognized her right away, thanks to Axton returning her photo to the hall of fame.
A few eager students hurried to the front, bombarding her with questions about study tips. Overwhelmed, and being naturally shy, she searched the back of the room for Wyatt and saw his encouraging smile. At that moment, Axton made space at the podium for Amelia. There was no backing out now; the situation left Amelia with little choice but to gather her nerves and walk to the podium to give a speech.
Stepping up, she met many eager faces, and in that instant, it felt like the missing pieces of her spirit slid into place. A boldness she thought she’d lost long ago came rushing back.
