Chapter 383:
Before Wyatt could finish, Weldon cut him off sharply.
His main objective now was securing a sample of Amelia’s hair in secret, but asking Wyatt for assistance would reveal his motives outright. Realizing his reaction was a bit odd, Weldon softened his voice. “It’s just a small matter, Mr. Stewart. No need to trouble yourself p>
Wyatt didn’t press further, and Weldon exhaled in relief when he saw him drop the issue.
On the drive back to Hillside Villa, Wyatt phoned Davin, instructing him to line up reporters to head to the hospital and alert the police once the reporters arrived.
After Wyatt ended the call, Amelia shot him a curious glance. “I thought you said no police p>
“I wasn’t going to involve them, but Damon just acquired that plot near the Davis Group. You’re planning to spin off your tech division, right? That land’s ideal for a new office,” Wyatt replied.
Amelia’s interest piqued at the mention of the plot. Katrina had coveted that land before her passing, only for the Mills family to snatch it. Now, with this chance, Amelia wasn’t about to let it slip.
“That plot is in a prime location, perfect for offices or commercial development. Will Damon really part with it?” she asked.
“He will,” Wyatt said with unshakable certainty.
His confidence only deepened Amelia’s curiosity, but he offered no further details. She began mentally drafting design plans for the plot.

Kretol City Hospital.
“Who let you in here? Get out!” Huntley bellowed, fresh from surgery, as reporters swarmed his hospital room entrance.
Wyatt’s kick had fractured four of his ribs, making him want to kill Wyatt, but he knew he was unable to do so. That made him very frustrated. The anesthesia was wearing off, and he felt pain all over.
At that moment, the ward door swung open, and reporters flooded in, their camera flashes relentless.
“Mr. Figueroa, did you harass Mrs. Stewart because you were drunk?” one asked.
“Is it true that those who cross you in Hans end up ruined, with families bankrupted because of you?” another pressed.
“Did you come to Kretol to sabotage the Davis Group’s projects p>
Huntley’s face flushed with rage at the questions. If they were in Hans, he would have smashed their cameras without a second thought. Even now, he wanted to do so, but his injuries pinned him to the bed, forcing him to endure as microphones were shoved in his face.
“Get out!” he roared weakly.
Damon arrived at the hospital room just in time to hear Huntley’s outburst and quickened his steps. His expression darkened at the sight of the chaos. “Do something to stop them!” he ordered, and his bodyguards surged forward to block the reporters.
The reporters, spotting Damon, redirected their microphones toward him. Though frustrated, Damon knew better than to antagonize the media. Regardless of the truth, the Figueroa family’s image couldn’t be tarnished in public.
From his bed, Huntley watched with growing irritation. “Damon, why waste words? Just have the bodyguards break their cameras p>
“Shut up p>
Huntley’s eyes burned with anger as he was yelled at by Damon, but faced with Damon’s icy stare, he reluctantly held his tongue.
Turning to the reporters, Damon forced a thin smile, working to defuse the situation. After considerable effort, he convinced the reporters to leave.
Just then, a bodyguard rushed in, voice tight with urgency. “The police are here for Mr. Huntley Figueroa p>
Just as he finished speaking, several police officers stepped into the ward. The reporters, who had begun to leave, swiftly raised their cameras again.
The police declared that Huntley was under suspicion for sexual harassment and needed to be brought to the station for questioning.
Huntley erupted in fury, exclaiming, “They are the ones who beat me up like this, and you’re letting them walk? Why am I the one being arrested p>
Despite his objections, the officers stood firm on taking him in.
Only after Damon instructed the bodyguards to fetch Huntley’s surgeon did the police relent. Considering Huntley’s injury, they opted instead to handcuff one of Huntley’s wrists to the bed and station two officers to guard the room.
Damon and his bodyguards were ushered out of the ward.
It dawned on Damon that Wyatt’s earlier silence in the private room was no accident — he had engineered this entire scenario.
But the land near the Davis Group, which he had fought tooth and nail to acquire from Colton, wasn’t something he would surrender to Wyatt easily.
He reached for his phone to call Wyatt, but before he could dial, it buzzed. Geoffrey was calling him.
After letting the phone ring for a moment, Damon answered the call. “Dad, why are you calling me at this hour p>
