Madonna, particularly, was known for her lack of skill in drawing and her disorganization. Without Bella’s protection, Madonna would likely have faced severe repercussions from Lynn.
Unbeknownst to Yelena, Madonna wasn’t shirking her responsibilities that day. Instead, she and Bella had purposefully arrived early at the café where Yelena’s meeting with Frieda was scheduled.
Scanning the café, they eventually located Frieda by a window.
Sharing a knowing look, Bella and Madonna smirked, ready to set their plan into motion.
At first, Bella mistook Frieda for a much younger woman, attributing her demanding attitude to youthful assertiveness. However, she was taken aback to find Frieda was actually a middle-aged woman, her face heavily made up with thick foundation, weathered skin, and bold red lipstick.
Despite her best efforts to conceal it, Frieda’s fatigue was unmistakable, particularly around her eyes.

Bella, unable to impersonate her sister, answered, “No, I’m her younger sister. Yelena couldn’t come, so she sent me in her place p>
In her mind, Bella reassured herself she wasn’t lying—Yelena really was her sister.
Frieda’s reaction was swift, and her face reddened with irritation.
“So, is this the way Harris Group treats its clients? The designs are mediocre at best, and you keep switching designers on your clients. Now you’ve sent someone just to mock me p>
Bella quickly responded, “You’re wrong, Miss Morphew. In fact, you’re the one showing us disrespect. Our designers have put in a lot of effort, creating numerous options for you, none of which you’ve approved. You don’t seem to value our hard work p>
Taken aback by Bella’s forthright accusation, Frieda seemed as though she had been accused of a serious offense.

Initially unimpressed by Harris Group’s offerings, Frieda found their jewelry designs too conservative and dated, not appealing to the tastes of younger clients.
Frieda thought about exploring other companies but hesitated due to concerns about the quality from smaller outlets, afraid of making inferior purchases.
Determined to leave something of genuine value for her daughter, Frieda insisted on high-quality, authentic jewelry. At this point, however, Frieda was disappointed in the Harris Group.

Madonna said, “Alright, if there’s nothing more to discuss, let it be. You contentious old crone, always with your excessive demands and tightening deadlines. One might think you’re hurrying to your grave p>
Her words struck a chord, and Frieda’s demeanor hardened. “Fine, I see no reason for us to continue this conversation p>
With that, Frieda turned sharply and strode away. Bella and Madonna shared a look, their lips twisting into a knowing smile as if sharing a secret only they knew.
