Bella wasn’t truly upset. She had stormed off primarily to induce guilt in Donna.
Deliberately slowing her pace, Bella hoped Donna would catch up. Yet, she couldn’t turn back; doing so would reveal her intention.
Out of the corner of her eye, Bella noticed Austin sitting in a nearby coffee shop.
