“Is that so? Then why are you so worked up about it? As long as Dad and Mom are on my side, I’m fine.” Yelena remained unfazed, her voice laced with indifference. She wasn’t interested in being the center of attention—after all, she wasn’t a walking bank account.
Bella sneered, her eyes narrowing with challenge. “Don’t get too cocky. We’ll see how long that lasts.” With that, she suddenly lunged forward, grabbing Yelena’s sleeve with surprising force. Her fingers curled tightly around Yelena’s arm.
Yelena’s brow twitched in annoyance before she effortlessly yanked her arm free, the movement smooth and practiced. Bella, seizing the moment, made a dramatic stumble backward. With an exaggerated gasp, she fell straight into the pool, splashing loudly as she disappeared beneath the surface.
“Help! Help me!” Bella’s voice was shrill as she flailed in the water, sending splashes in every direction.
Yelena stood still, her expression an unreadable mask as she watched the spectacle unfold. The drama was as familiar as it was tiresome. She knew this was just another of Bella’s antics—a little stunt to grab attention. And if memory served her correctly, Bella was an excellent swimmer. Who exactly did she think she was fooling?
The loud splash and Bella’s cries for help quickly grabbed the attention of the nearby guests, and a murmur of concern rippled through the crowd.

Without hesitation, one of the guests, an experienced swimmer, leaped into the pool with a splash, swiftly pulling Bella out of the water. Both women emerged, drenched and shivering.
Servants rushed forward, wrapping them in towels to warm them up.

Her voice broke, as if the very thought was too painful to endure. Though Bella never directly accused Yelena, the implication was unmistakable.
The conclusion was clear—Yelena had pushed Bella into the pool.
