Yelena’s expression turned into a frown. Holding the adorable kitten had distracted her from everything else. Otherwise, she wouldn’t have taken it home first.
“Don’t worry. I’ve bathed, dewormed, and vaccinated it already,” Yelena assured her.
“In any case, I can’t allow you to keep it here,” Elianna said firmly.
“I’ll take it back right away,” Yelena replied, more agreeable than Elianna had expected.
“Make it quick. I don’t even want to see it,” Elianna said.
“I’ll take it to my place first,” Yelena said.
Cayson, seeing Yelena’s attachment to the kitten, chimed in. “Yelena, I’ll have someone bring over a kitten bed later. Tomorrow, I’ll arrange for a play area to be set up in our yard so it can have a comfortable space to play p>
A little play area for the kitten? Yelena, surprised by the suggestion, said, “I’ve already ordered a simple kitten bed and had it shipped to our house. It should have arrived by now p>
