Now, with the Harris Group stabilizing and Cayson contributing significantly, Callum found himself with some free time. He now maintained regular working hours and could spend more time with his family, like joining Donna for walks.
Consequently, Callum became acutely aware of Donna’s emotional well-being, fearing she might succumb to stress-related illness, like Bernice had.

Due to Dina’s earlier interruption, Donna momentarily forgot about seeing Yelena with Austin.
“Uncle Callum, Aunt Donna, you’re back!” called out Amilia, their young but spirited niece, who had been waiting at Aus’ usual haunt.
Upon seeing them, she hurried over to greet them.

When Aus ignored her, she cooed, “You pretty kitty.” Aus halted and turned, his expression enigmatic.
Amilia followed Aus back to his spot. Settling into the cat bed, Aus licked his paw and groomed his head.
Amilia pulled out a comb and offered, “Aus, let me comb you.” She combed through Aus’s fur with care and gentleness, prompting Aus not to resist. Instead, he closed his eyes and purred contentedly.
Austin gave Yelena a room tour. The design was simple yet exuded luxury, creating an inviting atmosphere.
The living room and study on the first floor featured expansive floor-to-ceiling windows, providing a view of the changing seasons in the yard. The garden was a vibrant tapestry of various plants, remaining lush even in winter. The landscape appeared as though it were perpetually in spring, captivating anyone who looked upon it.
Yelena hadn’t been involved in the garden’s design, as she had only provided the floor plans. She was pleasantly surprised by the other designer Austin had hired. The garden boasted a natural fish pond, wooden walkways, and a gazebo, enhancing its beauty.
Each plant had been selected with intention.
The climbing roses were newly planted. Come spring, their blooms would cascade elegantly down into the yard and over the entrance, creating a stunning display.
