After the police documented the incident, Sebastian, pressed for time, consulted Callum and decided to continue on with the car’s dented front.
By the time he neared the Roberts’ house, the rain had stopped, and the sky had cleared.
Sebastian parked in front of the modest residence, stepping out with the gifts in hand. Composing himself, he walked up to the door and rang the bell.
The Roberts family heard the doorbell and stepped outside, their faces morphing into confusion as they took in the sight before them.
