“Bernice, you…” Katelyn began, but Bernice took her hand, urging her to sit. Bernice then shared the “dream” she had experienced.
“Mom, in the dream, I felt like I became a tree, stretching my branches high to the sky. It was so relaxing and joyful. Yelena told me to hold onto that feeling. She said I don’t need to be afraid anymore because the tree within me will always protect me p>
Katelyn was taken aback, surprised by Yelena’s knowledge of psychological techniques and their apparent effectiveness.
After talking for a while, Bernice mentioned she was tired and quickly fell asleep once she lay down.

“Why has Bernice changed so significantly? She seems not only better but in a better state overall,” Katelyn said aloud.

If not, she was ready to get some sleep.

“I’ve always felt Bella was a bit off. Bernice seems drawn to her, yet she often ends up feeling down after spending time with her. Bernice was excelling academically and in other areas, but she gradually lost interest in her studies and only sought thrills instead.
