Hearing the loud crash, Yelena and Austin exchanged a look and rushed toward Maggie’s room.
“Mom, are you alright?” Austin called out, not bothering to knock as he pushed open the door.
The strong fragrance hit Austin as he entered.
Yelena’s brow also furrowed at the scent.
Realizing the perfume bottle must have broken, they were met with the chaotic scene of Monica on the floor.
“Mom, what happened?” Austin’s eyes filled with concern as he observed Maggie crying.
Maggie, coming to her senses amidst her sorrow, crouched by the remnants of the perfume, tears streaming down as she mourned its loss.
“Ouch, it hurts so much,” Monica yelled sorrowfully.
At her cry, everyone’s attention turned to Monica, still lying on the floor.
“Austin, please help Monica,” Maggie urged.
Gently, Austin assisted Monica back into her wheelchair, her hand visibly bloodied, drawing concerned looks from the others.
