The room fell into stunned silence. Bella’s confidence shattered like fragile glass. How could this be?
She thought it was impossible. She had pulled out all the stops to prevent Yelena from meeting Frieda. By then, Frieda should have been on a plane for vacation. How could she have met Yelena?
