As Colden and Yelena continued to enjoy their time inside the cafe, Bella and Bernice had stepped out of their car and were on a mission to track down Colden’s vehicle. This part of town was always bustling, and they’d only caught a glimpse of the direction the black car had taken. Had they taken the wrong turn?
After a few tense minutes of searching, their eyes locked onto Colden’s car parked in front of Miro Cafe. But where was he?
Bella scanned the area, her eyes darting from corner to corner, until she saw a couple sitting at a corner table, the man effortlessly catching her attention. The man was strikingly handsome, and the woman opposite him had a graceful, elegant aura that made her hard to miss. Though they were still a little far, Bella knew instantly—it was Colden.
But the woman… she looked strangely familiar. Bella squinted, her mind racing. Those clothes. She’d seen them before. Today.
