Yelena, unnoticed by Elianna, sensed the impending discussion might involve her. Yet, Yelena wasn’t afraid.
With Callum still not around, the group sat down together. Elianna engaged Bella in conversation, deliberately ignoring Donna and Yelena.
Yelena wasn’t bothered at all. She had no desire to converse with Elianna. Every time Elianna spoke to her, it felt like a lecture, with an air of superiority. Even if Elianna wasn’t tired of it, Yelena certainly was. She was tired of hearing the same lectures over and over.
