The following day, the jewelry design competition was held with great fanfare at the city’s convention center. The organizers had decorated the venue splendidly and invited local TV stations and media for live coverage. What started as a casual event turned grand when several big names unexpectedly accepted their invitations, necessitating lavish arrangements and extensive publicity.
As the competition began, Austin took his place as one of the judges. Shortly after, he noticed someone with a sharp gaze sitting nearby. Turning his head, he recognized Cayson.
Austin smiled and was about to greet Cayson, but Cayson snorted and turned away, clearly displeased.
