Before long, resort employees arrived, bringing cooking utensils and spices.
“I’ll help out,” Yelena said, now changed into dry clothes.
She noticed the men busily managing the harvest. As she approached to assist, Austin stepped in and said, “You’ve already been diving and gathering these. You must be exhausted. Take a seat and rest over there p>
Cayson and Callum nodded in agreement. “Yes, have a break p>
Yelena replied, “Wouldn’t you all be tired too? Didn’t Austin and Colden dive as well p>
“Don’t worry about us. We’re fine,” they reassured her.
Donna gently placed a hand on Yelena’s shoulder and gave her a warm smile. “It’s okay. Let them take care of it. Sometimes it’s good to just relax p>
Seeing how capable the men were, Yelena decided not to argue and stepped aside.
Soon after, Dina, Elianna, and the others arrived, just as the food was nearly ready.
“Everything’s ready. Come and eat,” Callum said casually as he began handing out the food without turning around.
As someone reached for the tray Callum was holding, their hand accidentally brushed against his.
Startled, Callum’s hand flinched, and he quickly turned to see who it was.

From the moment Callum touched that hand, he knew something was wrong. Donna’s hand, which he had held countless times, felt distinctly different.

In truth, Amilia wasn’t hungry; she had just enjoyed a full meal before her nap. However, she seldom had the chance to indulge in barbecue due to Dina’s health concerns about such food. Yet, the aroma of barbecue was too tempting to ignore. Amilia had simply developed a craving.
Dina cheerfully responded, “Alright, I’ve just picked up something from Callum. Let’s take it to Amilia. I know she’s been craving it p>
As Dina and Kaiden walked off, engaging in light conversation, Callum watched them, his expression thoughtful. Their interaction seemed harmonious. Perhaps he was wrong about them?
