Yelena wondered if taking from one plate might upset the other. Deciding against choosing, she quickly grabbed her phone. “I need to respond to a text. Just set the plates down p>
Compliantly, Austin and Cayson placed the food on the table and stepped back. As they walked away, Yelena eagerly began her meal.
Bella observed from the sidelines as Yelena polished off two servings of barbecue, her expression growing increasingly displeased. Yet, the barbecue kept coming.
Colden approached with another plate, offering it with a smile. “Yelena, here’s some more for you p>
Gratefully, Yelena accepted it with a warm smile. “Thank you p>
“Enjoy it! I’ll be at the grill if you need more,” Colden responded before heading back.
Though once a barbecue enthusiast, Colden now avoided such rich foods to maintain his physique, as directed by his manager. Nevertheless, Colden channeled his cravings into cooking for others, particularly Yelena.
“It must be nice, Yelena. You just sit back and enjoy all this wonderful food,” Bella commented, watching with envy. Her gaze then shifted slightly towards Colden. Given such a clear signal, Bella was confident that Colden would understand.
Colden understood, but he couldn’t help finding Bella strange. He didn’t know her well, so why should he be the one to bring her food? Had she grown accustomed to being waited on, as if everyone was obligated to cater to her?
Ignoring Bella completely, Colden walked away to continue with his grilling. Bella’s face fell at the coldness.
Yelena noticed Bella’s sour expression and smirked to herself. Troublemakers were often the most vocal.
Jarvis soon appeared, holding a plate as if it were a prized possession. Upon seeing the feast before Yelena, Jarvis felt his own grilled offerings pale in comparison. The food Jarvis had grilled resembled a charred lump of coal, far from appealing.

Yelena, who had been enjoying her meal, froze when she heard those words. The barbecue in her hand suddenly lost its appeal. She placed her skewer down and fixed Jarvis with a cold stare. “Have you recently suffered a bump on the head p>
Jarvis, confused, asked, “What are you talking about? When did I hit my head p>
Yelena continued, “There’s no other explanation. You must have hit your head and forgotten. Otherwise, how else could you be acting as if your brain’s damaged p>
Jarvis’s face darkened, matching the burnt food on his plate. “Yelena, are you out of your mind? Why are you insulting me for no reason?” Jarvis snapped, his anger flaring. In his eyes, Yelena was clearly not behaving like a normal person.
With a raised eyebrow, Yelena said, “It seems you’re the one being unreasonable. If you’re so concerned about Bella, share your food with her p>
Without another word, Yelena gathered the plates and moved away. She wouldn’t be sharing with either Jarvis or Bella.
“Jarvis, please don’t fight over me,” Bella attempted to play the peacemaker.
Jarvis furrowed his brows and turned to Bella. “Bella, you don’t understand. It’s not that I want to argue with her, but she’s gone too far. She has all this amazing food and refuses to share any with you. She’s just being so selfish p>
Yelena approached the grill where the men were engaged in intense competition, their faces red from the heat but none showing signs of stepping away.
