Chapter 95

Unknown POV

I paced around the room, my feet pounding on the floor as I went back and forth and it was the only sound that could be heard. My jaw tightened the more I thought about it and my hand was folded into a fist.

“How could they be so stupid?” I muttered, my voice low and deadly. My fist was itching to run into something… particularly someone.

They were going to ruin everything I’ve spent months planning when I was so close to fulfilling it. The past few months, I’ve derived pleasure in watching them suffer, going around and trying to figure who I was.

Dumb fools, how was he even an Alpha? That should be me, instead, I was cast to the side like a piece of trash to be forgotten. But that wasn’t going to happen, I wouldn’t give up until I took what belongs to me.

The door opened and the culprit entered, his legs trembling as he took slow steps towards me.

I rushed to him, grabbing his neck and my hand tightened around him, lifting him until his legs were dangling in the air and he was struggling to breath. My wolf was itching to snap his neck in two but I threw him to the ground, watching him gasp for air.

“I-I’m s-sorry, boss.” He stammered, his voice trembling.

He got on his knees, begging like his life depended on it…it didn’t, the only reason why he was still breathing was that he was going to fix the problem he caused.

“How dare you?” I spat, punching him, my knuckles crashing into his cheekbones repeatedly, the crunching sound and his groans filled the room but they were like music to my ears.

“I’m in charge here I reminded him, “you. do. not. do. what. I. do. not. give. order. for.” My voice becoming louder and with each of my words, my fist connected with his face.

When I finally let him go, he crumpled to the ground, spitting out blood and gasping for air.

Using a handkerchief, I wiped away the blood stains on my hand before throwing it away.

“I’m sorry, boss. I-it…won’t happen again.” He repeated.

I moved away from him, my anger now a little bit subsided, having taken part of it on him.

“You’ll fix it.” I started and he nodded his head furiously. “You can say goodbye to everything you hold dear if they get as much as a name from them p>

“They won’t, boss. I promise p>

“Get out of my sight.” I ordered and he immediately scrambled to his feet and ran out of the room. I chuckled dryly, no amount of running was going to save him from me if he fails to carry out this mission successfully.

They were just a bunch of incompetent fools who needed me to do all the thinking for them but they still ended up messing up, by getting caught because I had no idea why they went into the pack to steal the potion. And they were already acting on their own orders, the least they could do was not get caught.

“I bet they’re thinking they outsmarted us.” My wolf taunted.

“Then they won’t expect what is coming.” I replied.

Slamming the door behind me, I left the room, some of the men who worked with me trembled at the sound, no doubt they heard the scream and crying earlier.

I went towards the Pack, where I would be meeting one of the people I have on the inside. She could be frustrating most of the time, but she had also provided useful information in the past.

And now that I was moving to the next phase of my plan, it was crucial that I got all the information necessary and that was where she came in.

I didn’t need to wait long, as I heard her footsteps before she finally appeared and she had a frown etched on her face…not surprising.

“Do you make it a habit to get into messy situations?” She asked, her voice bored as she made herself comfortable on the…I wouldn’t exactly call it a couch if all the parts were already falling apart.

“I’ll teach them a lesson p>

She shrugged, “you really should get a grip on them.” She said, “It doesn’t speak much on the power you claim to have.” My fist clenched as she spoke.

“How dare she talk to us like that?” My wolf growled, “Let’s just kill her, we’ll find someone else p>

“Do you want me to take care of it?” She asked, not paying attention to me.

“I have it under control.” I muttered and she shrugged.

She was one

e of the the first people I met who had so much hatred for Kieran

as much as I did. I didn’t care what

asì

her story was, as long as we had a common goal, that was everything that mattered to me. And combined with her abilities as a witch, there was no need to look for someone else.

“If you say so p>

“What did you find out? I heard the Beta is also alive.” I said, “do they have a witch on their side or is the poison you made not as powerful as you claim p>

Her eyes jerked upwards, shooting me a glare. “I know how to do my job well, unlike you p>

This time, I couldn’t stop myself from going at her, grabbing her throat, my claws extending, digging into her skin. She didn’t scream…not even a sound as she struggled to free herself.

“This is boring.” My wolf said, and I agreed, releasing her.

“What t-the f-fuck is your problem?” She asked, gasping for air, her hand touching her neck.

“That is just a warning since you love to run your mouth!” I snarled “Tell me what you know.” I was done going around with her, I had other important things to do than play around with a teenage girl.

“No witch…but there must be a healer in the pack p>

I paused, “a healer? How’s that possible?” I asked, my brows narrowed slightly.

No one has heard about, or seen a healer wolf after the war which broke out in the pack several years ago and from what I heard, no one survived…except someone did.

Interesting! That would explain how Kieran and his Beta were able to survive. My men did say they were certain he went down.

“I’m trying to find out who it is, they’re not really telling me anything. So it’s harder than I thought.” She continued.

“Get them to trust you. If you have to cast a spell for that to happen…fucking do

it p>

“That’s not how it works.” She argued, “and if you think it’s that easy, do it yourself p>

“You keep saying you have a plan but you won’t let me in. And you expect me to follow blindly?” She asked. “I can just make my plan and do what I have to do p>

I smiled, “is that a threat?” I asked, moving closer to where she sat. Her eyes remained trained on me. She tried to hide it, but the fear in her eyes was obvious. No words left her mouth as I bent down to look at her, my hand holding her jaws

“I’ll get them to trust me.” She murmured.

“I thought as much.” I said. “Find me the healer and I’ll let you know if you should

step in to deal with the men that were caught p>

“Yes p>

“Perfect p>

My next plan would have to wait, a healer is going to be a good addition to Pack

when I finally take over.

For now, it is ‘mission get the healer on my side p>
