Yelena had reassured her not to worry, saying everything had been arranged, but without the official letter in hand, Donna couldn’t quite calm her nerves.
During dinner one evening, Bella, with an almost deliberate air, brought it up again. “Yelena, the school term starts soon. Have you received your admission letter yet?” she asked the question with an edge, fully aware of the answer already.
