Ignoring Monica, Yelena continued, “You claimed Lena jumped onto the vanity and knocked over the bottle, right p>
Monica hesitated, feeling uneasy, wondering if Yelena was laying a trap.

Monica scoffed, thinking Yelena must be out of her mind. How was that a confession? She wasn’t a criminal!
Yelena then said, “Let’s all move to this vanity here. If the perfume bottle had fallen from there, it wouldn’t have shattered so far away p>
“Oh, you’re right. How did I overlook that?” Maggie murmured, her perception of Monica shifting.
Yelena explained further, “Also, the table is only about 70 centimeters high. Sure, the bottle would break falling from this height, but the fragments wouldn’t scatter as widely. However, if it was dropped from this height,” she said as she gestured above her head, “that would make more sense p>

But Monica remained still, her jaw set firmly.
She believed that Yelena had played her final card, and she could never let her win.
Maggie’s gaze remained fixed on Monica, but Monica didn’t budge. Even as the centipede crawled up her, sending visible tremors of fear through her body, Monica remained frozen in place.
“Help! Someone, please get it off me!” Monica shuddered uncontrollably, looking utterly helpless.
Maggie finally turned to Austin. “Austin, get the centipede off her now p>
Austin stepped up beside Monica, swiftly grabbed the centipede, and tossed it into the trash can.
A chill ran down Maggie’s spine, sending a shiver through her. Although she hadn’t touched the centipede, merely witnessing it was enough to make her skin crawl.
