“Shut up!” Cayson shot Bella an irritated glance. He hadn’t intended to rope Bella into the situation—he was merely testing these people’s intentions. Were they genuinely interested in Yelena, or were they simply after the Harris family’s status?
Regardless of their motive, neither possibility was favorable for Cayson. “I’m here to propose to Yelena of the Harris family.” At that moment, a familiar voice echoed through the room, drawing everyone’s attention toward the door. The gift bearers had already formed a neat line, standing in anticipation of the person’s arrival.
Exuding confidence, Austin strode in through the doorway. His expression was earnest as he greeted each member of the Harris family one after the other. When his eyes met Yelena’s, a soft smile played at the corners of his lips, warm and captivating.
