Yelena was speechless. There were moments, like this one, when she genuinely didn’t know how to respond.
In truth, Yelena didn’t think of herself as particularly young anymore. After all, she was already in her twenties. Moreover, she believed she wasn’t the kind of person to fall easily for someone or be foolish enough to let herself be taken advantage of.
Bella chimed in. “That’s right, Yelena. You’re so innocent. You can’t let some unscrupulous guy deceive you.” Considering Austin’s prestigious status, Bella was of the view that he would surely look down on someone like Yelena.
If Callum and Donna made a fuss about it now, it might drive Austin away from Yelena. Then, Bella would finally have her chance to shine. She was confident that once she got close to Austin, winning him over would be effortless.
“He’s not my boyfriend. I don’t plan on dating anyone anytime soon,” Yelena replied.
Dating didn’t seem nearly as fun as making money.
Callum let out a relieved sigh but still felt the need to warn Yelena. “Yelena, you have to be careful. Don’t end up like your aunt. She married a man merely for love and ended up ruining her whole life p>
Callum felt sorry for Katelyn.
Once upon a time, there had been many well-matched suitors vying for her attention, yet she had chosen the worst one.
It wasn’t that Callum was against marrying for love—he had married his wife for love too. He was just worried about his little sister. If Moss had truly loved Katelyn, things might have turned out fine. However, it wasn’t long after their marriage that Moss’s true nature was revealed. Moss was ambitious and had no good intentions towards Katelyn.

Callum quickly served Yelena some food, saying, “Yelena, since you’re just back, your mom and I aren’t sure about your tastes yet. If there’s anything you like or dislike, just let us know. We’ll tell the servants and make sure you get what you truly enjoy p>
Yelena replied, “I’m not picky, actually. I love almost all kinds of food. And speaking of which, a friend took me to an excellent restaurant. The cuisine there was truly amazing. I told the owner that I wanted to bring my family, and he said we were always welcome. Let’s make time to go there together. I’m sure you’ll all love it p>
Her parents and brother had always been thoughtful and considerate toward Yelena, surrounding her with warmth and care. Yelena felt that she, too, could do something for the family in return. Treating them to dinner was the least she could do.
“Did they have private home cuisine?” Bella’s curiosity was piqued. She turned to Yelena and asked, “Yelena, which restaurant are you talking about p>

Yelena didn’t even want to talk to Bella, but with Donna, Callum, and Cayson all looking at her curiously, she finally said, “It’s a place called Bearded Chef’s Bistro p>
Bella chuckled softly but quickly stopped herself when she realized it wasn’t quite appropriate. She looked at Yelena with a skeptical expression and said, “Yelena, are you sure? It’s not easy to get a reservation at Bearded Chef’s Bistro. Even the owner’s acquaintances can’t always secure a spot. Among the people I know, only Monica has some connection with the owner, and even she has to make reservations before she can dine there p>
