Tessa’s complexion went ghostly white, as if all the blood had drained from her face. Large beads of sweat, the size of beans, formed and rolled down her forehead. Within moments, she was drenched in sweat.
Yelena checked her watch and realized they had a bit of time. “Head to the restroom. I’ll wait for you here.” Tessa nodded, too rushed to speak, and hurried toward the bathroom.

The women’s restroom was currently undergoing maintenance and was closed to the public. What was she supposed to do now?
Arriving at the scene, Yelena found Tessa pacing back and forth, clutching her stomach in distress. “What’s happening p>
“The women’s restrooms are closed for repairs. I’ve looked on several floors, but it’s the same everywhere. They mentioned there’s a blockage that needs to be repaired, which has caused all the restrooms to be overcrowded with long queues. I’m not sure what to do now p>

“Okay… What?” Tessa was taken aback, hardly believing what she had heard. Was Yelena really suggesting she use the men’s restroom? But men were inside!
“I’ll check it out first,” Yelena said.
As Yelena walked towards the men’s restroom, a man stepped out, visibly surprised to see her there. He quickly checked the sign on the door to make sure it was indeed the men’s restroom, and then relaxed.
“Yelena, what’s going on p>
“The women’s restroom is out of order, and it’s urgent. Can you see if it’s clear? I need to use it,” Yelena said.

The man eyed Yelena, a smirk forming on his lips. He found it amusing to see the typically composed Yelena caught in such an awkward situation.

Without a word, Yelena brushed past him and headed straight into the men’s restroom, leaving him gaping in disbelief.

She knocked on each one of the stall doors, found them empty, and ushered Tessa inside.
