In the confined space, Yelena whirled around and threw a punch at the approaching figure.
But the person was quick, catching her fist with ease.
Surprised, Yelena struggled as the person gently pulled her close.
A familiar scent of cologne halted her movements.
Looking up, Yelena noticed the man’s smooth jawline, her eyes slowly tracing upwards to his full lips. She then observed his prominent nose.
Her attention shifted from the bridge of his nose, past his jawline, and finally settled on those eyes, which seemed to draw her in.
It was Austin.
Yelena’s eyes softened, her expression changing from alertness to stunned.
“Why are you here?” she murmured.
Austin replied, “If I hadn’t come, I wouldn’t have realized you were in such danger. It was incredibly risky. Yet you still dared to come in alone p>
“I’m not afraid,” Yelena said, her tone casual.
Austin hummed softly, his gaze dropping to their intertwined hands. He said nothing more.
The narrow passageway made it difficult for them to walk side by side, forcing Yelena to lead the way, with Austin close behind, still holding her hand. Perhaps due to her nerves, Yelena didn’t pull away.
They reached a small room at the end of the passage, confined to just a few square meters. As Yelena scanned the dim surroundings, a figure emerged from the shadows.

Still, Bella could hear sounds, and she realized both Austin and Yelena had arrived.
She chose to ignore Yelena and pretended to only hear Austin’s voice.
Yelena approached and roughly removed the blindfold from Bella’s face.
The harsh light stung Bella’s eyes. She instinctively wanted to shield them with her hands, but her bindings made it impossible, leaving her to squirm in frustration.

Bella completely dismissed Yelena.
