“Wow, Stellar Dreams!” Bernice said, equally surprised.
Bernice turned to Tessa and asked, “Do you like this book too p>
Tessa’s face lit up. “I love it! The heroine is amazing. She came from a refugee camp but ended up saving the galaxy. It’s an incredible and inspiring story. I borrowed one copy from a classmate once just to pass the time p>
Bernice, on the other hand, looked at Bella with a hint of disdain, then turned her gaze away. “Enough. I don’t want to talk about yesterday anymore,” she said, her voice firm.
Bella’s apology had been insincere, and Bernice recognized it now. She hadn’t seen how fake Bella was before, but now it was impossible to ignore.
Bernice understood that Bella was trying to make her anxious again by bringing up the past.

Tessa gasped, admiring Bernice’s boldness. Coming from a modest background, she couldn’t imagine having the means to do something like that.
The two continued discussing the comic book, completely absorbed in their conversation. Yelena sat quietly, observing the interaction, though she hadn’t actively contributed.
The noodle stall owner soon approached with their orders, and it was only then that Tessa and Bernice paused their conversation.
Tessa and Bernice glanced at each other and smiled.

“If you’re not into it, why did you accept the copy? Perhaps you should give it to me,” Bernice said eagerly, reaching for the comic book. She clearly wanted it badly.
