With a hint of sarcasm, Jarvis said, “So, the show finally begins.” He couldn’t shake the suspicion that Yelena was merely pretending to be capable.
As Yelena buckled up and started the ignition, the car’s wheels initially spun aimlessly in the mud.
The onlookers seemed disappointed by what they assumed was a poor start. But suddenly, under Yelena’s precise control, the car lurched forward, cutting through the mud with surprising ease. The engine roared louder as the vehicle climbed steadily out of the pit.
