John, momentarily taken aback, gave Yelena a thumbs up, impressed by her acumen. He then turned to Ellen, whose foolishness seemed evident to him. With a stern look from John, Ellen bristled.
“What are you staring at? I swear I’ll gouge your eyes out!” she snapped.
“Ellen, you’re so poised with others, but you’re always yelling at me. Don’t I deserve better?” John countered.

John dropped the act, unable to maintain it under Yelena’s observant gaze. “Leonel seized the opportunity during Austin’s troubles to lead people back to the Barton’s residence, aiming to deal with Maggie and Aitana. However, Austin anticipated Leonel’s move and had me relocate them well before p>

“Let’s get out of here and go meet them then,” Yelena suggested. With that, Yelena turned and walked away, unwilling to linger over their petty arguments. Ellen stuck her tongue out at John and hurried after Yelena.
