“How am I supposed to do that? They’re already married,” said Ricky.

Her words hung in the air as she leaned in, whispering her plan into his ear. Ricky grew silent, his thoughts spinning as he considered her proposal.

If Janessa’s plan actually worked, Amelia would end up abandoned by Wyatt. Still, as long as those two remained husband and wife, Ricky kept his spot as Wyatt’s father-in-law, and honestly, he wasn’t eager to let the title go. The moment news broke about Wyatt and Amelia tying the knot, plenty of company bigwigs who used to look right through him had suddenly started treating him with respect.
